How to Audit Website Performance Issues Using WebYes

Last updated on 04 February 2026

The Performance feature in WebYes helps you understand how efficiently your website loads and responds to users. It highlights performance data, critical issues, and page-level metrics so you can prioritise improvements that have the biggest impact on user experience.

The Performance feature has three main tabs:

  • Dashboard
  • Affected pages
  • Issue list

Each section provides a different level of insight into your website’s performance.

Performance Dashboard

The Performance dashboard gives you a high-level overview of how your website is performing. It displays the overall performance score along with the average response time, helping you quickly assess whether your site meets expected performance standards.

Core Web Vitals

The Core Web Vitals section shows the key metrics used to analyse website performance. These metrics focus on loading speed, interactivity, and visual stability.

  • First Contentful Paint (FCP)
Measures the time taken for the first piece of content to appear on the screen after a user navigates to a page.
  • Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)
Indicates how long it takes for the largest visible element on the page to become fully visible to users.
  • Total Blocking Time (TBT)
Calculates the amount of time during which the page is unable to respond to user interactions.
  • Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS)
Measures unexpected layout shifts that occur while the page is loading, without user interaction.
  • Speed Index (SI)
Shows how quickly the visible content of a page is populated.

Together, these metrics provide a clear picture of how users are likely to experience your website during page load.

Response Time per Page

As you scroll down, you will see a section that displays the response time of each page on your website. It helps identify slower pages so you can decide which ones need immediate attention and optimisation.

The overview highlights the most affected pages that may require urgent attention. From the list, you can review each page separately and work through the reported issues one by one. If you select a page, it will show the elements affected being listed along with that page’s performance data, as shown below.

Critical issues are grouped separately, as resolving them can lead to noticeable improvements in overall website performance. This section helps you prioritise fixes based on impact rather than page order. As you click on any issue, it will open up a side panel listing all affected pages by that particular issue.
