Last updated on 13 November 2024
Visual design elements, dynamic content, and interactive components often involve complexities that automation cannot adequately analyse. Manual checks ensure that accessibility compliance extends beyond technical requirements to provide a truly inclusive experience for all users, including those with disabilities. WebYes simplifies this process by flagging the issues that need your attention for manual review. This article details the steps required to find the accessibility issues listed by WebYes after a thorough scan of your website.
Steps to Identify Accessibility Issues Requiring Manual Checks
Step 1: Navigate to the Accessibility widget
From the WebYes Dashboard, click on the Accessibility widget. This will take you to the accessibility report after the scan. Here, you can see stats that summarize the following:
- Overall accessibility score
- Total and critical issue
- And summarizes WCAG 2.2 criteria

Step 2: Get the Affected pages summary
In the top navigation bar, select Affected pages. This tab lists all the pages that have accessibility issues. This page also summarizes and lists common accessibility issues, pagewise issues, and shows trends on how the accessibility of your site has changed over time. You can also find an issue log with additional information, such as the Name and Priority.

- Under Accessibility issues per page, choose the page for which you want to view manual checks. This will take you to the detailed report on the selected page.

Step 3: Analyse the page-wise accessibility report
The detailed report page summarizes all the critical issues, passed audits, and issues that require a manual check.
