How Will I Know When the Scan Is Complete?
Last updated on 06 November 2024
When you start a scan in WebYes, a progress window appears showing the current status of the scan. This includes:
- The total number of pages being scanned
- How many pages are complete
- Which page is currently being scanned
Each page is marked with a check ✔ once its scan is finished. If your site has multiple pages, you can track progress page by page until the full scan is complete.
The scan may take a few minutes, depending on your site’s size and structure. While the scan is running, you can click the ‘Explore dashboard’ button to view the detailed dashboard, which becomes available as soon as the first page is scanned.

Scan pop-up
When you click on the ‘Explore dashboard’ button, you’ll be redirected to a detailed page where you can monitor progress for each functionality—Accessibility, Performance, Quality, and SEO. For websites with multiple pages, a check mark will appear next to each page link once its scan is complete.
When the final page finishes scanning, the system automatically redirects you to the detailed WebYes homepage, where your audit scores are displayed.

WebYes Dashboard
If your site has only a single page to scan, once the scan is complete, the audit scores load immediately—without showing a “scan complete” message or requiring you to click the Explore Dashboard button.
